Volunteers are the lifeblood of most charities and non profits.
Finding a relatable cause where you can make a difference is such a huge motivator behind the commitment to philanthropy. Meet Nicole Boduel, a senior volunteer with Athletics For Kids (A4K). I was fortunate to have spent time getting to know Nicole and uncovering why she’s so passionate about athletics, sports and helping kids get involved and stay active.
Athletics For Kids (A4K) provide funding assistance, ensuring all British Columbia children, regardless of their socioeconomic status, have access to youth amateur sport.

Take a look at this highlight video from the A4K Gala at Hollyburn Country Club in West Vancouver, British Columbia. The event featured great food and drink, live auctions, boxing and much more.
All video footage was captured by Topanoris Studios.
We are so proud to have been selected as the video vendor for this great event. Let's all help more kids play sports!
Each year, I identify a charity or non-profit organization holding a fundraising event to donate my time and service to. I think it is easier for most to make a monetary donation to their favourite cause, but sometimes, more is needed. An able body, educated and experienced mind or talent is the difference between reaching holding a successful event or maybe reaching a fundraising goal.
This year, I had the honour and privilege of volunteering with A4K - Athletics For Kids at their annual gala held at Hollyburn Country Club in West Vancouver. The gala is their biggest fundraiser and was smashing success again this year. I will be sharing much more content once it's ready but for now, enjoy this short highlight video I put together, capturing some of the live boxing action. There were three bouts - one of which was for a heavyweight championship. All footage was captured on the marvelous Sony A7S with a variety of native lenses (Sony FE 90mm f2.8 Macro G OSS, Sony FE 28mm F2, Carl Zeiss Loxia 50mm f2 Planar).
